What practices ask first.
Does my patient data go to your servers?
No. Practice KPIs reads your reports and stores them on the PC it's installed on. Our server only receives a licence check: an install number, the app version, your licence, the practice names you typed and the size of your data in MB. It never receives report contents, patient names, file names or anything from a visit. See every field.
Is Practice KPIs HIPAA compliant?
No software can be "HIPAA certified"; HIPAA applies to how a practice handles patient information. Practice KPIs is designed so patient data stays on your own computer and never reaches us, which keeps it inside the safeguards your practice already has for that PC. How we think about HIPAA.
Which reports do I need, and how often?
Two reports from eClinicalWorks eBO: KPI Money and KPI Visits. You pick the dates and export them, usually once a month. The first time, export up to 24 months so every page can compare with last year.
How do I know the numbers are right?
Each report you add is checked, to the cent, against the totals eClinicalWorks writes into it, before anything is stored; a file that doesn't tie is refused. If you also add eCW's standard reports, the Data page ties billed, cash and money owed to them month by month and names any difference. A number that doesn't tie is shown nowhere, and Data says why.
Do you need access to our eClinicalWorks?
No. Nobody from Clinihealth logs in to your eClinicalWorks, and the app doesn't connect to it. It only reads the report files you export.
Can I use it for more than one practice?
Yes. Click the practice name to switch; each practice keeps its own data and is priced per provider like any practice. Consultants and CFOs see every client practice with the same pages. Bringing several? Write to us.
What does it need to run?
A Windows 10 or 11 PC (64-bit). It installs for your Windows user only, so it doesn't need administrator rights. Pages work without an internet connection; the app checks its licence when it's online.
How does the free month work?
Start your free month: your practice, your providers, and how you will pay. Nothing is charged for 30 days. After that you pay by card or invoice, monthly or yearly (or you use a code from us), and you can stop before any renewal.
What happens if I stop paying?
If an invoice stays unpaid a week past its due date (or a failed card for two weeks), the app turns view only: what is in stays on screen; new files, exports and reports stop until it is paid. Your data stays on your PC either way.
