Trust

Trust.

Where your data lives, how updates are signed, the BAA, and what happens to the app if we're ever gone.

Your patient data stays on your PC

Practice KPIs runs on your practice's own Windows PC. The reports you export from eClinicalWorks are read, checked and stored there, in your Windows profile. We never receive patient data, so there is nothing of it for us to lose. The app sends us nine small fields, such as the app version and the practice names you typed, and the security page lists every one.

What leaves your PC

Updates you can trust

Every update is signed on our own computer, and the app checks the signature and the file before it installs anything. Nothing installs until you click, and if an update doesn't finish, the app tells you plainly.

A business associate agreement, if you want one

The app keeps patient data on your PC, so it doesn't make us your business associate under HIPAA. If your policy asks for a BAA from every vendor anyway, ours is ready: email us and it applies to your practices.

If we're ever gone

Clinihealth is a small company, so it's fair to ask. Here is what happens if we stop:

  • The app keeps running. It lives on your PC, not on our server.
  • Your numbers stay yours. Every page and every Excel and PDF download keeps working. When your licence period ends, the app becomes read-only, never locked.
  • Your reports stay in eClinicalWorks. Nothing about your data depends on us.
  • You'd hear first. Our terms promise at least 60 days' notice and a refund for any time you've paid past the end.

Who we are

Practice KPIs is made by Clinihealth LLC, a Georgia company. Questions about security, questionnaires or the BAA go to [email protected], and a person replies within one business day.
